EXPEDITION CHEF AND CAMPING COOK
Since I was a child I developed a taste and love for cooking. My grandmother used to cook special meals for our family with dumplings, cookies, and also drinks that were all delicious. Learning from her, I mastered cooking dumplings, traditional pasta (Mongolian Tsuivans), traditional dairy products including yogurt, organic cheese, dried yogurt, and many other delicacies.
I absolutely love to cook, and it is my pleasure to prepare healthy meals for my three kids on a daily basis. I also try to create new recipes based on her original treats and mix them with other healthy ingredients. I am also invited from time to time to cook for my friends and relatives to special events and gatherings, weddings, birthday parties, etc. Following my passion, and since I had the chance to live in the USA, I worked there as a pizzaiola at the Round Table chain of restaurants for 5 years. Later back to Mongolia, I created my own pizza Caffe restaurant in Ulaanbaatar in 2009.
Two years later, I started traveling within the Mongolian countryside together with local vegan tourists. Ever since, I traveled every summer with tourists, cooking delicious meat and plant-based meals outdoors along with Mongolian traditional recipes: special noodle soups with curd cheese “Eezgii”, hot fried cabbage, organic snacks and drinks, traditional dairy products yogurt, organic cheese, dried yogurt to name a few. Since
I joined Gobi Mountain Lake Company at its start, I am honored to be the first chef stationed at the Sand Mountain Eco-Lodge, belonging to the Sand Mountain Expedition sister company. I will be happy to meet you in person and prepare you for a very special cuisine experience at the Sand Mountain Eco Lodge!
