AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE - AT YOUR OWN PACE - THE WONDERFUL LANDSCAPES OF THE WEST
THE SOUL-FILLING TREKKING TO WESTERN MONGOLIA'S HIDDEN GEMS
Western Mongolia brings awesome hiking and trekking places and opportunities to nature lovers. Its diverse wilderness runs along the Khangai and the Altai Mountain range. Between the north-western end of the Khangai Mountains and the western summit of the Altai Mountains, it passes through the Great Mongol Sands National Park and Kharhiraa-Turgen Mountain National Park. The vast majority of the trek is situated within the designated wilderness and lies almost entirely at or above 5,000-8,000 feet (1,500-2,400 m) in elevation. The trek has been described as Mongolia's most undiscovered trail and one of the most remote places in the country.
With some of the most off-the-beaten-track routes, you can choose from a wide range of locations to challenge yourself and bring you closer to the culture and wilderness of Mongolia. Our responsible travel guidelines have been developed to ensure our treks have a minimal impact on the culture, environment, and community, saving the beauty of this nature for future generations and travelers. Whether it’s camping in semi-permanent campsites to discourage logging in western Mongolian high mountains, sand dunes, to hiring local guides, porters, cooks, and pack horses or camels, your presence on one of our trekking trips means that you are helping the local community to grow and to develop itself both economically and environmentally.

Until today, I enjoy cooking a large variety of meals, Asian and European based dishes, including my favorite: chicken and beef. At the Seoul Restaurant, I got many opportunities to learn the Korean food culture, with specially fermented and salted Korean foods but not only.
In 2002, I attended a professional culinary course in Mongolia. After 8 years of experience as a cook, I decided to improve try different skills, and preparing meals outdoors was one of them. I tried, therefore, to cook while on a trekking journey with tourists, this over long distances. As I started to like this challenge and new ways of showing my skills, from 2010, I began to cook fully dedicate myself to cooking outdoors
THE RIVER VALLEY EXPERIENCE
This green little gem is sitting right on the northern slopes of the Tarvagatai Mountains and provides a really peaceful feeling. It is actually one of the greenest places of the whole country, featuring beautiful larch forests, rivers, mountains around, and small valleys hosting nomadic life. It is possible to spot wildlife there, birds, but of course to immerse yourself into pastoral nomadism with herders and many of their animals around with horses and yaks especially. Because of its amazing natural values, it is one of the best places to ride horses. The terrain not being flat everywhere provides some interesting challenges such as crossing rivers, passing through forests, and accessing higher grounds with an amazing view over the entire region. This is a very rewarding place for many reasons. Learn more about the destination below!
PEACEFUL LAKES AND HOLY MOUNTAINS TO DISCOVER ON FOOT

The entire treks are filled with incredible scenery and potentially quite a few wildlife spotting occasions. This is sightseeing and adventure full of great moments that will provide just enough relaxation in between. You will get off the beaten path to discover hidden areas, observe wildlife, be amazed by the surrounding glaciers, tranquil lakes, mountain rivers, misty waterfalls, and an amazing cliff called by the locals "Deer Jumping Canyon". High passes with great views, magical lakes, rocky gorges, waterfalls, remote valleys: this trek has everything. Learn more about the trekking destination below!
