 Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and visit the city

Ulaanbaatar

Our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel, settling in, and rest. You will meet your guide at the hotel. Discover the Chingis Khaan Square. In the evening, we will enjoy Mongolian performances including folk dances, throat singing and contortion at Tumen Ekh. Experience Mongolian cuisine for dinner at the traditional restaurant.

 Day 2. Discover the Przewalski's horses in wild

Hustai National Park

Driving:  130 km - 3 h
Hiking: 10 km - Easy

We travel from Ulaanbaatar to Hustai National Park, visiting the Gandantegchilen Monastery at Mongolian Buddhist center on the way. The park is home to the world's only wild herd of Przewalski's horses, an ancient breed that was saved from extinction. Once we get there, we’ll hike in the Park to discover the Przewalski's horses, roe deer and marmots as well as other wild animals. Staying in a traditional yurt -ger under the stars.

Day 3. Visit the former Mongolian capital, Kharkhorin

Kharkhorin

Driving:  380 km - 5 h

After a breakfast, we'll travel from Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin town, former capital of the Mongol Empire. The legendary city was founded by Chingis khan in 1220. One of the Mongolian oldest and attractive monasteries Erdene Zuu, was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan, is located there.  At the Elsen Tasakhai sand dunes, take a short walkto stretch. Once we reach Kharkhorin, we will visit Erdene Zuu Monastery and the Museum of Kharkhorum then accommodate near from the town in a peaceful eco ger camp and relax.

Day 4. Enjoy a hot spa at tsenkher Hot Spring

Tsenkher Hot Spring 

Driving:  160 km - 4h

Journey on track towards Tsenkher hot spring. It is the sulfur spring, emerges from the ground that has been using as traditional treatment for centuries. In a pleasant verdant wooded area, yurt camps offer baths with a suitable temperature for the guests. Possibly enjoy a massage therapy. Staying overnight in a yurt here.

Day 5. Experience nomadic way of life in the Orkhon Valley

Orkhon Waterfall

Driving:  220 km - 5h

We’ll drive to the Orkhon valley, a UNESCO world heritage site, reflects thousands of years of nomadic pastorism, and significant events in human history as a heart of Mongolian Empire. The valley has many historical vestiges, the picturesque landscapes, surrounded by the verdant Khangai Range, the rich fauna and flora, make this area the perfect place discover the nomadic Mongolia. We’ll stay with a nomad family where you experience their way of life, and attend daily duties such us milking a mare, a yak and producing dairy product. Overnight in a guest ger of the family.

Day 6. Horse riding to discover the Orkhon Waterfall 

Orkhon Waterfall

Riding:  14 km

Horse riding to the Orkhon Waterfall, is on the Ulaan River cascades from an impressive height of 20 meters. The waterfall is a great spot for bird watching, horse riding and a homeland of yaks. We'll discover both Small and Orkhon waterfalls.  In the evening, you can attend preparetion of traditional mongolian barbecue "khorkhog", cooked by hot stones. Staying overnight in a guest ger with the same family.

Day 7. Elsen Tasarkhai Sand dunes & Khugnukhan Mountain

Khugnukkhan Mountain

Driving: 200 km - 6 h

We’ll depart family camp and take the road on towards granite Mountain Khugnu Khan and Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes which is a semi desert typed beautiful landscape. Today is one of long driving day. Enjoy a hot shower, relax and stay overnight in a ger at the comfortable camp in the bottom of the mountain.

Day 8. Hiking in Khugnukhan Mountain

Khugnukhan Mountain

Hiking: 15 km - 4 h

After breakfast, we will take a short journey to the sand dunes then visit the Erdene Khamba’s temple, dates back to 17th century. From the first temple, we will start walk up to reach a ruin of Uvgun temple in Khugnukhan Mountain. This Mountain is a sacred Mountain with stunning rocky formations and the view of the surrounding area is great from the summits. The trail leads through rocky the valley with outstanding scenery. Stay overnight in a tents at the bottom of the mountain.

Day 9. A journey back to Ulaanbaatar

Driving: 280 km - 4 h

Drive back to the city, possibly visit the factory store of cashmere and transfer to your hotel. With your guide you can go and shop in the center of the city.

Day 10. Enjoy the Naadam Festival

Ulaanbaatar

Driving: 20 km

Watch the Opening Ceremony of Naadam festival in the Central Stadium and competitions of traditional wrestling, archery and ankle bone shooting. Enjoy an atmosphere of the festival. Transfer to the hotel and check in.

Day 11. Watch a horse racing and visit the Chingis Khaan Statue Complex

Ulaanbaatar

Driving: 200 km - 3 h

Early morning, we’ll leave the city to the horse racing site. Watch the race of four-years horses. Enjoy the atmosphere around there. Drive back to Chingis Khaan Statue Complex through the city. The Chingis Khaan Statue Complex that is 40 m tall, the biggest statue of the Great King of Mongol Empire. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. With your guide you can go and shop in the centre of the city.

Flight back
