For those who want to challenge themselves reaching the greatest sites of whole Mongolia, and bringing amazing photographs of the landscapes, the people and the culture of the regions crossed.

This 21-day journey takes you close to the Kharhiraa mountain (one of the highest summits of the Western regions) and up to the ends of the the Great Mongol Sands National Park, the largest Gobi desert on the west region of Zavkhan. Between amazing hikes in pristine places, holy mountains, sand dunes, incredible water ways, and to finish the adventure to the South Gobi, land of the dinosaurs and wild life, this trip covers what Nature’s lovers and photographers absolutely would die for.

You will have a chance to trek, try yourself horse riding if you wish at the home of the local nomads around our camps, learn tricks and explore your photography to places few people ever encounter, with guaranteed amazing skies and scenes for landscapes, wild life and portrait/documentary photographers. Authentic culture, luxury stay whenever possible during the trip, and comfortable tent camping at the very wild and remote places we cover. You will have most of the uniqueness of Mongolia for you to explore, learn, and for sure bring back beautiful images of your exploits. A once in a lifetime experience.

Day 1.
Welcome to mongolia, exploring Ulaanbaatar city
Day 2.
Direct flight to Ulaangom, access to western Mongolia
Day 3.
The Altai mountains: drive to Goojuur waterfall
Day 4.
The majestic mountains and land of waterfalls: amazing hikes and photographic opportunities
Day 5.
The Snow Leopard Canyon hike, a wild landscape made for adventures
Day 6.
Change in landscapes: the western gobi and the sand dune river. tent camping and incredible terrain
Day 7.
A day excursion to the little dune lake, between high mountains and the largest sand dunes of the west
Day 8.
Drive to the ider sum, the holy mountains and quiet lakes. Nomadic family portraits and sunset
Day 9.
Deer jumping canyon: a first hike, crossing ice cold rivers, amazing sunrise and sunsets opportunities
Day 10.
Wildlife photography, ancient petroglyphs and the green upper lake: a full day hike (20km)
Day 11
Drive to the Yak Valley, comfortable stay, nomadic life, bird photography along the river and lakes
Day 12.
Hike up to the triangle mountain: another holy mountain, amazing view over the valley
Day 13.
Drive to the ancient capital of the mongols. Kharkhorin temples and museum. Bed and breakfast stay
Day 14.
Discover the mountain temple: beautiful small hike, and highest monastery in Mongolia
Day 15.
The ruins of Ongi temple, gateway to the south gobi desert.
Day 16.
Bayanzag flaming cliffs: a martian landscape, jaw dropping sunsets and starry nights.
Day 17.
Yol valley: between rocks, eternal ice and vultures
Day 18.
The white stupa: white cliffs, small hike and beautiful sunsets
Day 19.
Baga gazar rocky mountain: potential photographs of argali and ibex, or deer
Day 20.
Journey back to ulaanbaatar
Day 21.
Flight return to home
